The short version
We collect as little as possible. You can read the site without an account. We don't sell personal data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets first-party cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location (country or city, from your IP address), and your device and browser type. We use it only to understand how the site is used, and we don't use it to identify you. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and doesn't track you across other websites. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is handled by Substack, which sends the newsletter. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email.
Settings saved in your browser
If you turn on spoiler-free mode, that choice and the races you've chosen to reveal are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device, and clearing your site data removes them.
Advertising & affiliate links
The site may show display ads and use affiliate links in the future. Ad partners may use cookies to measure and personalise ads. Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent first, and we'll update this page before any such partner goes live.
Hosting & logs
The site is served by Vercel. Like any web server, it may briefly process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
